Words do not in fact lead to killing. I'm quite certain I can speak any words or hear any words without killing anybody - and I expect the same from other people. Words do not create killing. However, people who DO kill, and their beliefs (or mind or consciousness) that give cause to their actions are the sole reason for any of it to happen.

ReplyDeleteOffending people is another issue, and a psychologically important one. I do believe the Muslim religion is not at fault in-itself - but the interpretation it is given by the many terrorists who give a bad name to it IS in fault. As stated, the Quran itself does not propagate devilry - but the interpretation of it can easily do so. People are the real devils here - no matter if they call or feel themselves muslim or christian, they can easily turn to a great evil. Only by peaceful and non-angry (less-emotional) dialogue can issues like offending be solved I think.

ReplyDeleteIslam is a violent religion. Muslims claim to be peaceful and friendly towards unbelievers are not true muslims. Quran clearly says to hate all unbelievers this including Jews and Christians as well as other religions. Jesus ,Abraham,Moses..etc has never taught to kill any unbeliever.

I will challenge any Muslim to a debate at anytime. Mohammed was to have said to be nearly choked to death by an angel cause he didnt know how to read. What prophet do you know of had short comings and was harmed cause of it?! Moses was a studder but God Yahweh never choked him in order to speak correctly.He sent his brother Aaron to speak for him. ReplyDeleteEssentially, America is a 'christian country'. Christianity and Islam have been at each other since they both became competitors for converts. The Crusades anyone? America acted irrationally and stupidly in response to the 9/11 attacks, and from that they set in motion events that would lead to the deaths of thousands.
ReplyDeleteInstead of acting irrationally and doing the first thing that came to mind.....such as invading the Middle East, I only wish America had reacted responsibly and thought about what provoked the attacks in the first place instead of acting impulsively and without thought for the consequences. It should have acted like the world's predominant superpower, not like a kid who lost a fight and wanted a get back quick revenge scheme.
Why then would Islamic extremists need to exist in the first place? If America had kept its nose out of shit that wasn't its concern, there wouldn't be a fucking issue. But lo and behold, they felt it neccessary to traipse on in and fuck everything up.
The reason extremists exist is because they do not like the American dominance of their world. America should but the fuck out of shit that doesn't concern it.
In regards to those extremists who commit suicide to kill others, I pity them and feel sorry that they have misinterpreted Mohammed's teachings. A jihad was initially a war against onesself. The sin within yourself that you need to combat. Only with the crusades and recently has it been warped and misrepresented as a quest to kill infidels and non believers.
Peace between these two Abrahamic religions might not come soon, but I hope it does, because if not....well, America will be in even more shit than it is now.
I'm commenting from a fairly objective perspective. I'm an Australian and yes, we are American 'allies' if you will. But condoning this needless violence and prolonging the inter-religious war is unneccessary and a waste of lives and resources. Not to mention psychologically and morally wdamaging. Peace should win out.
