Saudi Arabia prisons to replace Guantanamo bay
Saudi Arabia is to build five modern prisons in the kingdom to replace US Guantanamo detention facility, a new report has revealed.
Jordanian daily quoted unnamed sources as saying that US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) and Saudi officials are cooperating to construct the prisons which are to replace Guantanamo and US secret prisons in Europe.
Riyadh is to spent about two billion Saudi Rials for the project which can accommodate up to 18000 inmates, they added.
Bin laden firm and with the help of German engineers will build the prisons in the Saudi cities of Mecca, Haer, Demmam, and Qasim.
The US has been under pressure due to violating individual rights in its detention camps in Europe and Guantanamo Bay.
UN human rights investigators have urged the White House to shut down the Guantanamo camp.

Crucified by "Freedom"
The story am about to tell you is a true one. I have kept the details unchanged, but I did change the names, location and dates to protect the anonymity of the victims.
Ahmad lives in an insalubrious, run down apartment in Syria with his wife and 5 kids. Prior to his forced exile, he lived in a decent neighborhood and in a large home, large enough for his family and his parents.
After the occupation and during the usual nightly American raids, that all Iraqis have experienced, Ahmad's life took a definite turn from which he will never recover.
His house was besieged by a horde of American barbarians, tanks and weapons...They stormed in the middle of the night, made everyone lie on the floor, face down, including his elderly parents, kicked and beat the whole family with their boots, resting them on their heads and necks...
Then they proceeded to storm each room using axes to break down the doors when the doors were not locked to start with. Then they opened the wardrobes, and said they were looking for weapons of mass destruction. They set all the wardrobes on fire.
They moved Ahmad's family to the vicinity of his home and made Ahmad and his family watch as your brave boys blew the house up.
They arrested Ahmad and a few others, blindfolded them and took them to an American camp in Baghdad. During the ride to the detention camp, around 20 soldiers were kicking and butting with their rifles edges, Ahmad and the other detainees.
Once arrived, they placed them in a corner of a dirty cell and started pissing on their wounded bodies while hysterically laughing. Not contenting themselves with that alone, they (the Americans) brought in a basin used to collect shit from their mobile toilets and emptied it on Ahmad and the other detainees heads.
Ahmad and his mates spent several months at this American detention camp. The first few days their interrogation consisted of identifying posters on a wall. The picture was that of Saddam Hussein. Of course Ahmad was able to identify Saddam Hussein's picture. When he and the others answered affirmatively, they were violently beaten up by the Americans because for these Americans luminaries, that was proof that they (the detainees) knew Saddam personally.
After several days the interrogation took another turn. Ahmad believes it was not even a process of getting any information which he did not have. But, according to him, the interrogations were just a form of humiliation to the prisoners and a way for the soldiers to "HAVE FUN." - American fun.
Ahmad recalls that one of the American officers used to sit on his chair with a bottle of whisky next to him and start questions like: " Where do you buy your vegetables from ?" " What is the name of your barber?" Other humiliating questions were - "How many times do you have intercourse with your wife ?" "What positions do you take ?... At times, a male and female soldier would undress and mimic such acts in front of the other soldiers all the while "teasing" the detainees...
Ahmad and other prisoners were then transferred to another camp in the South. Which meant that officially there were under British custody. But the personnel inside the camp included US, Australian as well as British soldiers.
When they arrived at this other camp, the British received Ahmad and the others with the same sort of treatment -- kicking and striking with their riffles butts, just like their fellow Americans did before. Ahmad's head was injured during his first arrest and the wound in his head reopened and started bleeding.
The soldiers tried to stitch it in the prison cell but failed, since they are not trained to do so. So they were forced to transfer him to a military hospital. X rays showed that his skull was fractured and had been fractured for several days by now, from the physical blows. They had to operate on him and he was moved back to the prison camp.
Ahmad recalls that all sorts of humiliation and torture were still being inflicted on the prisoners of this camp. He said that when they wanted to take any one to the interrogation session, they'd strip him from all his clothes and put a hood on his head and make him walk naked the whole distance, around 3 km, in front of the other prisoners while the accompanying soldiers would be using their vehicles.
The interrogation still consisted of questions like - "where do you buy your vegetables from and where do you get a haircut?" All the while, with insults and all kinds of beatings being showered on the detainee.
These interrogation sessions were done in the presence of the highest ranking prison officers. Ahmad is completely convinced that these interrogations and torture sessions were done for the sake of "FUN FOR THE SOLDIERS" and not for extracting and gathering security information as the Americans like to pretend.
A whole year elapsed and Ahmad was allowed to receive one visit from some members of his family. His family had spent days and weeks in front of the prisons, begging to see him...
Food in the prison was in itself an insult and a form of torture.
The soldiers would collect the prisoners in one large open space at 8 am for "breakfast". They would make them sit in the heat of the sun till 11 am.
They were forced to take on a "stress position", i.e to sit in a position straining their joints with their hands crossed over their heads so they can have their "breakfast"!
In case any prisoner moved his hand to rest his body a little, the guards would directly shoot him with a rubber bullet right on the face. Some prisoners lost one of their eyes in such incidents. Other developed severe pain and blue faces for months. Those who were unable to stay in the stress position were the elderly, some older than 70 years of age.
That same procedure was repeated between 1 pm and 5 pm - during the "lunch" period The food consisted of a bag of beans with sugar for "breakfast" and a very hot peppered rice for "lunch."
After a year or so, Ahmad and others were transferred to Abu Ghraib prison.
Ahmad recalls that what was unique to this prison were not the notorious sexual insults and torture - something he was quite familiar with and used to by now, but the presence of woman prisoners among them (the men) and the torture these brave women were subjected to in front of them.
One such technique was to tie the woman's legs with two different ropes and pull the naked body in opposite directions. Some died from the pain of this method and others were either split in half or had their hips totally disconnected from their joints.
Another "sport" for the American brave boys, so they can have fun, was to tie
a male prisoner with the noose of a rope to his neck and the other end of the rope was tied to the waist of one soldier. The soldier would run from one end of the cell to the other dragging the suffocating prisoner on the ground and other soldiers -- spectators would time the race.
Then, other soldiers were to do the same thing but in a shorter period. In other words, a race competition/a contest. The prisoner would usually end up with a dark blue face from strangulation and his whole body bruised from being dragged in a "fun" race.
Ahmad was finally released with no charges. He moved to Syria, having lost his home in Baghdad and nowhere to go. About a year after his arrival here, Ahmad started feeling numbness and weakness in one side of his body, something which made speech and swallowing excessively difficult. At first he thought he had a stroke, but when he consulted a specialist, he was told that he had some dead brain cells due to some traumatic accident.
Today, Ahmad drags his legs and is unable to use his arm and hand. Ahmad does not only carry the physical trauma which is there for all to see but the psychological trauma from which he will never heal.
While in Syria, Ahmad met another friend who was an inmate in some Basra camp. This other friend told him that the Americans used to drop hot pepper liquid in the eyes of the prisoners as a form of torture. His friend added that the brave boys did that to him more often than not and today Ahmad's friend is totally BLIND.
Ahmad also met the daughter of a judge, she can't walk anymore, her hips "went loose" after being tortured in Abu Ghraib.
There are more stories, real stories to tell...Stories of "Liberation." Stories weaved by a "civilized" West, the West of " Human Rights and Democracy."
Some bad faithed, dirty, corrupt, hypocrites will argue that this is the work of "a few bad apples."
American and British "ideals" - Yes more like it.

Guantanamo: The Torture of Omar Khadr Aged 15
Please Watch this link for more background info HERE
Omar Kahdr's Interrogation Video From Guantanamo.
Kahdr held in Concentration Camp for 5 years without charge.
A Canadian citizen born in Toronto, he is the youngest prisoner held in extrajudicial detention by the United States and has been frequently referred to as a child soldier. The only Western citizen remaining in Guantanamo, Khadr is unique in that Canada has refused to seek extradition or repatriation despite the urgings of Amnesty International, UNICEF, the Canadian Bar Association and other prominent organisations.
Khadr is the only Guantanamo detainee who has faced a judge and who is not boycotting the military tribunals, and has spent six years in the Guantanamo Bay detention camps charged with war crimes and providing support to terrorism after allegedly throwing a grenade that killed a US soldier.
In February 2008, the Pentagon accidentally released documents that revealed that although Khadr was present during the firefight, there was no other evidence that he had thrown the grenade. In fact, military officials had originally reported that another of the surviving militants had thrown the grenade just before being killed.

As we, REVOLUTION MUSLIM, finished street dawa outside the masjid a past Friday,
wal-hamdulilah, an ordinary western convert to the ideology and mentality spouted
by what is properly termed the “Saudi Salafi sect”, a group of brainwashed
haoxsters that provide legitimacy to the apostate leaders here in the West much
like the Committees for Propagating Virtue and Preventing Vice and their executive
arm, the muttawin prevent criticism of the leaders in Saudi Arabia, confronted us
with good intentions and attempted to call us to recognize the impermissibility of
rebelling against the ruler by making the typical claims that we are in fact duh, duh,
duh, dahhh… KHAWARIJ. While this argument has been held so many times that we
are actually starting to answer their questions before they bring them up, the
brother did provide some criticism about the concentration of political issues on our
website that I think warrants a response, albeit a short and common sense one.
All Muslims are familiar with those that pronounce with their tongues that they are
“salafis.” They are frequently caught spouting quotations from the scholars they
follow and in actuality accept unquestionably. They are those that will scold an
individual for not following Sheikh Albani’s methodology of prayer and they are
those that are full of vehement hatred for the mujahideen. Ask them where there
is a jihad right now and they will tell you that it is in their pacing up and down the
isles of the masjids and the surrounding territory correcting the innovations while
spilling the blood of those working against the tyranny in the Muslim world. Talk to
them about anything other than what they have memorized in their study circles
however and they have nothing to say due to their inability to think abstractly and
their lack of knowledge about the world, especially current events. This is certainly
not the way of the sahaba they claim to imitate. Indeed nearly every sahaba (RAA)
after the Prophet’s death (SAWS) passed away holding a military, legislative, or
political position in the then expanding Islamic empire.
The calamity that faces the Muslims today is predominantly a political one. Since
the onslaught of colonialism and western dominance, the fall of the caliphate after
World War I, and the subsequent nation state secularism accepted by EVERY Muslim
country in the world, the number one cause and the greatest example of shirk in
the ummah is in regards to the legislation that has dominated the Muslims for over
80 years. The greatest fitnah facing Muslims today is that people have left the
Hakkimyya of Allah. If people start making dua to other than Allah (SWT) it is
imperative that Muslims work to eradicate this evil, but with the advancement of
literacy and technology the world over, the shirk that faces the ummah is not
necessarily the shirk of associating partners with Allah (SWT) in supplication or in
prostration; it is the shirk of political legislation and ruling by laws that do not
conform to the norms set forth by Allah. The proofs for this are innumerable. Allah
(SWT) says, "But no, by Your Lord, they can have no faith until they make you
judge in all disputes between them and find in their souls no resistance against
your decisions, but accept them with the fullest submission (4:65) (see also 4:58-
59, 5:44, 5:45, 5:47, 5:48, 5:49, 6:57). These narrow-minded individuals have
been taught otherwise however and therefore go about propagating the idea that
you must call to tauhid first. But the religion of Allah (SWT) is complete and calling
to the hukm (rule) of Allah (SWT) is calling to tauhid. As Allah explains,
Today, I have completed your religion, perfected My blessing upon you,
and I have decreed Submission as the religion for you. (5:3)
Shaikh Muhammad ibn Abdul Wahhab gave attention to Tauhid- Ulohiyaa in his time
when he saw the people were worshipping saints and graves, and Imam Ahmad
focused on Asma wa-Saffat (Names and Attributes) in a time when the people fell
short of tauhid in that respect, and now when the calamity facing the Muslims is
that they are absent a caliph by 80-plus years and the affairs of the ummah are not
dictated islamically, the people must be taught that legislation is a form of worship
and that the one who denies or violates it is no different than the one who
prostrates to an idol. The legislation of the public affairs is a necessary component
of ibada regardless of whether you isolate it as a separate component of tauhid or
include it under tauhid uhloohiyya. However, the mind of these “Saudi Salafis”
would rather spend time calling those who point to tauhid-al hakkimyya as a
necessary emphasis as innovators. Ask them if they believe in Tauhid al-Hakkimya
however and they will reply affirmatively. Thereby they are able to deflect the
conversation to one of technicalities and definitions and away from the ideological
comprehension of tauhid in all its aspects and the subsequent effort to eradicate
the shirk of legislation this comprehension leads to. By casting doubt against the
callers to Hakkimyya they are able to prevent its entering the dominant discourse
even though they too believe in it in principle but do not understand it in actuality.
The situation is similar to the way intellectuals are kept out of the mainstream
discourse in the West. By constantly requesting that ideas be kept concise so as to
conform to the deliberately manufactured needs of the dominant media, the power
structure prevents them from being heard and entering the realm of everyday
discussion. Popular opinion may conform with the ideas of the intellectuals calling
for just institutions but because the powerful control the discourse these ideas are
suppressed and presented as though they are on the fringe. This is a manner of
ideological warfare far more successful than violent oppression. The powerful
redefine justice to suit their needs and prevent its actual implementation in the
West much like the powerful redefine Islam in the Middle East, by giving positions
of respect to a dominant and complacent elite that protect the narrative and control
of the regimes. The situation of these Saudi Salafis is no different, by reverting the
masses away from the Muslims calling to the truth, they are able to separate them
on the fringe and thereby delegitimize their call before the argument is even heard.
The fact that they know someone who studied in Saudi Arabia and that they have
him on speed-dial is enough for them to pledge their unconditional loyalty; this
gives them a sense of entitlement and superiority they oftentimes do not see, much
like the white, Protestant males from this society: snobbish, arrogant, and
constantly ready to point their fingers at the poor and oppressed. Ask a Saudi Salafi
for a solution to the contemporary situation and his or her reply will be that when
the women in Palestine start to cover their hair and men pray fajr in the masjid all
will be well. Until then they deserve their privileged position living off the crumbs
of empire in the developed West or under the shade affronted to them by their
loyalty to an oppressive oil-rich King in the Muslim world. This mentality and not
the individuals that physically hold it, is the primary field for warfare today and only
in studying, analyzing and grasping the present situation can the Muslim mind
implement a comprehension of tauhid in action and implement these ideas in
practice, thus altering the external reality and condition of Islam in the world and
serving to resurrect a renaissance from amongst the Muslims that may propel them
back to greatness.
You are the best of peoples ever raised up for mankind, you enjoin Al-
Ma’ruf (good) and forbid what is Al-Munkar (all that is evil), and you
believe in Allah’ (3:110)
It is common for the allies of western empire and the tyrants that rule over Muslim
land today to label and describe committed Muslims as ‘political’ so that people
disassociate from them and so that they label them the infamous term “terrorists”,
otherwise known as Khawarij in the Muslim world. They hope that society will shun
them and that they in turn will not have to resort to their own repressive policies of
kidnap, extortion and murder. The outcome is that society hates what is termed
‘political Islam’, b
ut one that doesn’t recognize that Islam is political and that the legislator is Allah,
has not grasped the concept of LA ILAHA IL ALLAH- which is two parts negation
(Nafi) and affirmation (Ithbat). Allah describes, “Let there be no compulsion in
religion: truth stands out clear from Error: whoever rejects the taghoot and
believes in Allah hath grasped the most trustworthy hand-hold, that never breaks
(2:256).” Here rejection is mentioned first because one must denounce all other
taghout (false idols). Again the mind of the Saudi Salafi leads them to believe that
this is merely the worship of idols but the Arabic word ‘taghout’ has been defined
as, “an idol, a false god; seducer, tempter (to error).” Muhsin Kahn has defined the
term as, “anything worshipped other than the Real God (Allah), i.e. all the false
idols.” And he includes, “saints, graves, RULERS AND LEADERS WHO ARE FALSELY
WORSHIPED OR WRONGLY FOLLOWED [and] A FALSE JUDGE WHO GIVES FALSE
JUDGMENT.” Allah (SWT) also says, “O ye who believe! Obey Allah, and obey the
Messenger, and those charged with authority among you. If ye differ in anything
among yourselves, refer it to Allah and His Messenger, if ye do believe in Allah and
the Last Day: That is best, and most suitable for final determination. Hast thou not
turned Thy vision to those who declare that they believe in the revelations that
have come to thee and to those before thee? Their (real) wish is to resort together
for judgment (in their disputes) to the Evil One (taghout), though they were
ordered to reject him. But Satan's wish is to lead them astray far away (from the
right),” and yet the mind of the ignorant one is led to believe that seeking the
judgment of America is a necessary evil in this day and age. This verse was
revealed when a Jew and a hypocrite fell into a dispute. The hypocrite called on
Ka'b bin al-Ashraf, to arbitrate between them, while the Jew called on the Prophet
Muhammad (SAW). When they came to him, the Prophet ruled in favor of the Jew.
But the hypocrite was not satisfied, and so they went before 'Umar (RAA). The Jew
told him what had happened, whereupon he ['Umar] turned to the hypocrite and
asked him, 'Is this true?', and when he replied, 'Yes', he ['Umar] killed him. Isn’t it
strange how these Muslims today command us to understand the religion of Islam
as the companions (RAA) while they ignore the vital methodological underpinnings
of their ways and actions? Wherever this ignorant understanding exists and is
deliberate there is disbelief for their disbelief resembles the same disbelief of those
who take part of the book and not all of it and those who refer to other than what
Allah (SWT) has revealed in legislation. Note how Umar (RA) slayed the hypocrite
and left alone the Jew. As soon as he referred to the ‘taghout’ for decision Umar
(RA) didn’t hesitate in taking action. We need to return to a true understanding of
Islam as understood by this valiant Caliph. Allah says,
And surely We have raised in every nation a messenger, (proclaiming):
Serve Allah and shun the taghout. Then some of them (there were) whom
Allah guided, and some of them (there were) upon whom error had just
hold. Do travel in the land and see the nature of the consequence for the
deniers!
And then to travel in the land and see what was then end of the rejecters is a
command to understand the historical record. It is an imperative command to see
that injustice and falsehood are bound to perish by analyzing the history of the
world. The Quran explains this history by mentioning some of the prophets who
came to call people to justice and to rule over them with the righteous commands
of Allah (SWT). Allah's Messenger is reported to have said, "The Prophets took care
of the affairs of the children of Israel, whenever a Prophet died another Prophet
succeeded him, but there will be no Prophet after me. There will be caliphs and
they will number many." This saying documents that the Prophets legislated and
were great statesman and politicians. The set up just societies and were therefore
honored by Allah (SWT). By approaching life understanding the struggle of the
Prophet’s to establish justice in the society, one cannot help but desire to constantly
strive to make the world a better place. By understanding the everyday political
affairs and the religion one stands a chance to do so. Allah’s order in the
aforementioned ayat, to travel around and see the end of those before you, is
evidence that the mind the Quran builds believes in Allah, rejects the taghout and
then has a rational understanding of the environment so that it may make decisions
based on evidence. This is the part lacking in the ummah today.
The notion that everything was shown to us in the Quran and sunnah is a fallacious
misunderstanding of the idea that is Islam. Islam in its root means peace and in its
definition means submission. Similarly the Quran and Sunnah define the axiomatic
underpinnings or foundations of life and are rooted in the notion of peace yet leave
man in his rightful place in this universe, as ruler over the domains he may come
into contact with and with personal decisions that must be accrued in the mind, and
then practiced by behavior. The Quran and the sunnah guide the mind and
behavior but the individual is left to concoct creative ways to understand the
universe and then change the external surroundings in such a way that is conducive
to the idea of PEACE that is Islam. Say this to the mind reduced to the rote
memorization of hadith about patience with the ruler and the automatons sent by
the King to promote a version of Islam that prevents the spread of its actuality, and
they will throw their hands up in mockery crying that this is not the understanding
of the “salaf” and quoting that the Prophet Muhammad (SAWS) said I have shown
you all things. The belief that this means that every single minute detail is included
in the Quran and Sunnah is absurd. The point is that the foundations have been
detailed and from the foundations the mind of the Muslim may be guided to decide
and act in ways conducive to peace in the world. This belief implies responsibility
to work for justice and strive with life and wealth in the way of Allah. The
reductionist view of the narrow-minded minion of the King can only lead to the
preservation of the ideas propagated by Nimrod and Pharaoh. The notion that Islam
is clearly delineated and has no room for free thinking is the reason you see a
select group of individuals dedicated to memorizing and quantifying their religion.
It is a defense mechanism of personal enslavement to the likes of kings and priests.
As Allah (SWT) said,
They take their doctors of law and their monks for Lords besides Allah, and
also the Messiah, son of Mary. And they were enjoined that they should
serve Allah alone – there is no God but He. Be He glorified from what they
set up as partners with Him (9:31)
Adiyy ibn Hatim at-Taa’ee, a Christian convert said “By Allah, O Messenger of Allah,
we did not take them for lords besides Allah.” So he said, “When they made
something lawful forbidden for you, had you not used to declare it forbidden; and
when they made lawful something forbidden, had you not used to take it as being
lawful? He said, “as for that, then it did used to happen.” He said, then that is your
taking them as Lords besides Allah.” These ignoramuses so too repeat this grave
offense by listening intently only to the scholars that surround the King they so love
to protect, the buffoon who protects the biggest aggressor against Muslims in the
world today, and we seek refuge from the consequences of his abolishment of the
shariah.
Jaabir Ibn ‘Abdillaah said that Allaah’s Messenger (SAWS) said to Ka’b Ibn ‘Ujrah,
“O Ka’b Ibn ‘Ujrah, I seek Allaah’s protection for you from the leadership of fools.
There shall be rulers, whoever enters upon them, then aids them in their
oppression and validates their lies, then he is not from me nor I from him, and he
shall not be admitted to the Hawd (a river in Paradise). Whoever does not enter
upon them, and does not aid them in their oppression, nor validates their lies, then
he is from me and I from him, and he shall be admitted to the Hawd.” (Collected by
Ahmad, al-Bazzaar, and Ibn Hibbaan; al-Albaanee authenticated it in “Saheeh at-
Targheeb wat-Tarheeb.” An-Nawawī said, “Al-Qādhī ‘Iyādh said, ‘The scholars have
formed a consensus that the leadership (Imāmah) is not to be contracted to a
disbeliever (Kāfir) and that if disbelief (Kufr) comes from him, then he is to be
removed.” – until he said – “So if disbelief (Kufr) and changing the legislation
(Shara’ ) or innovation (Bid’ah) comes from him, then he has left the status of
authority and his (right) of obedience falls and it becomes obligatory upon the
Muslims to rise up against him and remove him and set up a just Imām, if that is
possible for them. Then if that is not possible, except for a group (Tā’ifah), then it is
obligatory upon them (i.e. a group) to rise up and remove the disbeliever (Kāfir).
And that is not obligatory concerning the innovator, unless they assume that they
are able (to do so). Then if the inability is confirmed, then the uprising is not
obligatory, but the Muslims must make Hijrah away from his land to other than it,
and flee with his religion.” So, what of all their defenses of the King of Saudi Arabia
who clearly violates the shariah of Allah by accepting part and parcel every
component of the international, interest-based economic order, who has exempted
the royal family from equal treatment under the law, allowed 500,000 crusaders
onto Saudi soil to drop more bombs on Muslims than in all of World War II, seeks
judgment from the U.N. and U.S and takes for protectors the United States
government at the expense of the natural resources that belong to the people?
One financial analyst describes the situation as such, “Around 4.8 million Saudis
and 461,000 expatriates took bank loans or financed purchases in 2007… An
employee can now get a loan just on the strength of his monthly salary serving as
the only collateral,” 1 According to the salafis he is to be advised in private by the
scholars; however what they fail to grasp is the fact that the King of Saudi Arabia is
the scholars. The Higher Council of Ulama is an institution that allegedly protects
the shariah and it is legitimized by the relationship between Muhammad ibn Abdul
Wahhab and ibn Saud of the late 18th century, but as Sheikh Abdul Wahhab (RA)
has been dead for over 200 years so too has his creed. The imams that sit on top
of the Higher Council of Ulama are one of the institutions that protect the
dominance of the House of Saud. This council produces fatawas, books and
sermons designed to legitimate the political order. It was established in 1971 by
royal decree. The king appoints its members. The function of the Council as the
decree specifies, is “to express opinions of the shariah regarding matters submitted
to them by wali-al-amr (the king)” and while they present themselves as
independent their fatawas rarely oppose the position of the king. The Higher
Council of Ulama monopolizes the discourse by delegitimizing voices of dissent.
After the 1991 housing of infidels on Muslim soil, letters issued to the king by rising
Islamic voices called for reform, the movement known as the Islamic Awakening
was unable to influence the region however largely because the Higher Council did
not thrust forward with unabated support. The result was that the Muslims took it
upon themselves to remove the foreign troops. The Ulama responded by issuing
countless edicts against the “terrorists” and spreading a creed of conformity to the
Saudi establishment by calling for Muslims to pronounce themselves “salafi”,
thereby preserving power with a label despite the fact that the version of religion
they promote is far from the understanding of the the righteous generations at and
after the time of the prophet Muhammad. While it is typically argued that it is
permissible for the Muslims to seek the assistance of the kuffar against the kuffar
as was the case allegedly in regard to Grand Mufti Bin Baz’s fatawa legitimized kafir
troops on Saudi Arabian soil, it is not permissible to seek assistance from the kuffar
against the kuffar in the case of Hezbollah’s defeat of Israel in last summer’s war
because they are Rafida shia and kaffirs cannot be considered friends of the
Muslims. So, while the U.S. troops were bombing civilian targets in Iraq it was a
good thing, yet while the Shia were gaining the first victory in quite some time
against the Jews it is impermissible to support them. This is the way that fools
think and these double standards and twisting of the religion of Muhammad is the
very reason that the Prophet (SAWS) said that we would follow the Jews and
Christians right into the lizard hole. Those outside the hole choose to investigate
the truth and tell it as Allah (SWT) commands,
O You who believe! Show integrity for the sake of God, bearing witness
with justice. Do not let hatred for a people incite you into not being just.
Be just. That is closer to faith. Heed Allah (alone). Allah is aware of what
you do. -- (Qur'an, 5:8)
This sect made its way to the West via the narrow-minded individuals we are
referencing, and the mentality of the Saudi state has reproduced itself in the
Islamic society in many ways here. We consider reorganizing the collective Muslim
mind one of the means by which we may help to assist revive the religion and we
consider calling to the present situation and speaking about these atrocities as one
of the highest forms of jihad. As Imam Muqbil bin Hadee commented, “Allaah Azza
wa Jall says in his Noble Book “Let there arise from you a group inviting to good,
enjoining good and forbidding evil, and they are the successful (3:104) and it has
been established from the Hadeeth of Taariq bin Shehaab, that the Prophet (SAWS)
said "The best Jihad is (to say) a statement of truth to a tyrant ruler." (Saheeh al-
Jaami' #1100) "To" (Arabic: 'Ind, with) does not necessitate secrecy nor that he be
alone with the ruler. Regarding the Hadeeth "Whoever has advice for a ruler, then
let him advise him secretly or privately". The Asl (base or root) of this Hadeeth is in
Saheeh Muslim and the above addition was not mentioned in the Asl. Its Asl in
Saheeh Muslim says "Whoever hurts the people will be hurt" or close to this
meaning, and this addition was not mentioned. Thus it is necessary to examine the
addition. So whoever thinks it to be equal in strength to those who did not mention
it, then it is an acceptable addition. Or if its reporters are equal in number to those
who did not mention it, then it is an acceptable addition. But if it is a disparaged
addition, then it is considered Shaadhdhah (unacceptable). And this addition is from
the last type, so it is a disparage addition and considered Shaadhdhah. What is left
to mention is there is a difference between criticizing and denouncing on the
Mimbar the ruler's faults and between encouraging the people to revolt against him.
Calling to revolt is not permissible unless we see clear cut open Kufr, as in the
Hadeeth of 'Ubaada bin as-Saamit, (RA), he said "We gave a pledge to Allaah's
Messenger (SAWS), to listen and obey in our times of activeness and tiredness, our
times of difficulty and ease, and not to fight against the ruler unless we see open
Kufr that we have proof from Allaah for. And to say the truth wherever we might be
for Allaah, not fearing the blame of the blamers." Where ever we may be (Shaykh
Muqbil repeated the last part, to emphasize the truth may be said in public if
needed) And the Prophet (SAWS), ordered Aboo Dharr to say the truth even if it
was bitter. Ahmad reported this in his Musnad.” And so Revolution Muslim resorts to
denounce the clear cut replacement of the shariah as a means of revitalizing the
ummah.
Still calling to this can be extremely dangerous. Sālih al-Fawzān, the favorite
scholar of the Saudi Salafis, is busy calling for the blood of Muslims that recognize
this struggle. In a tape entitled “Tracking Down the Terrorists is One of the Greatest
Forms of Jihad” a questioner states, “Noble Shaykh, may Allah grant you success.
We are a group of police officers and we would like to direct a question to you since
we have been entrusted in this country with investigating those who wish to disturb
the peace or oppose and reject obedience to the leader of affairs. And we have
heard of a religious verdict stating that it is impermissible to track these people
down to pursue them and fight them because they are “Mujāhidūn, and because
they want to expel the nonbelievers who fight Muslims in other countries such as
Iraq. So, what is the correct opinion regarding this, may Allah grant you success.”
The sheikh’s answer serves as an example of the ideas that propel these individuals
to consistently argue and threaten your well-being. He said, “May Allah assist you;
you are the ones making Jihad. You all, by this work of yours, are in Jihad. This is
because by doing this, you intend to prevent the people of falsehood, secure the
peace, and safeguard people’s lives, honor, and wealth. So, you are the ones
making Jihad; may Allah assist you. And the reward of the Mujāhidīn will
(instead) be written for you and for your compliance and obedience to the leader of
the Muslims. This job of yours is a respectable, dignified job, very honorable. So,
have no doubt about this.” This is certainly the understanding of a buffoon and
leads to a Stalin-like state of existence in Saudi Arabia today where everyone who
understands the kufr of the one who seeks the judgment of the taghout finds their
life in danger.
Ibn Taymiyyah said, “Just as the preparation is obligatory by making ready the
power from steeds of war, in those instances when it (i.e. the Jihād) collapses, due
to inability, (then preparing to do so also become obligatory) because whatever is
not fulfilled except with something else, then that thing (also) becomes obligatory.”
In the absence of the caliph and the Islamic state it becomes wajib to prepare to
protect the state from external attack, to promote the general welfare of the
population, and to concoct systems that may one day help to implement the
fundamental axioms of the shariah realistically inside a modern contemporary
society. The efforts of every Muslim in the West should be to take advantage of the
peace on this soil to study and analyze systems that may be implemented that
coincide with Islam and to work toward witnessing the reestablishment of the
Islamic state.
Many Muslims in this world are encumbered in intellectual inservitude at the hands
of a carefully contrived conspiracy against the shariah of Allah (SWT), and a
separation of the necessity of rejecting the taghoot in all its manifestations. As long
as the Saudi kings go to pray and claim shahada with the tongue they are free to
act and legislate in any way they please, and as long as they fund, advance, and
set up filters like the Higher Council of Ulama there will be no change in rhetoric.
This rhetoric is promulgated in the West were the leaders of Muslim communities
refuse to address the global body of Muslims and deal only with the situation in
their respective countries. This mentality too is wrong and documents the tacit
acceptance of the nation state system set up to divide the Muslims by the kuffar. It
is a form of modern tribalism that so to requires a political education in order to
work against its deceptions. We do not hate the people that promote this mentality
but do shun the ideas they hold.
The week before we had gone through a discussion about the history of the Higher
Council of Ulama and Saudi Arabia and we started with the life of Muhammad ibn
Abdul Wahhab (RA) because one cannot grasp the complexity of how the religious
establishment cements the throne of the apostate rulers without first looking
through a historical, political, economic and multidimensional lens, but the brother
could not maintain clarity in the conversation because as he saw it politics,
economics, history, science and the other dimensions have no place in the realm of
discussion and so the conversation was so foreign for him because his good
intentions to become a good Muslim and his effort to seek knowledge have
compartmentalized his ability to think, and so he was heard requesting that we
count down the prerequisites to salat and that we give him five books of the salaf
(a tactic used to show that you really haven’t read Fawzan’s commentary on Tauhid
and utilized to give a false sense of superiority a major factor in the character flaws
that drive these individuals to remain on the Saudi Salafi way even after having
talked to brother’s with our views); his rote memorization of his religion is the
reason why religious groups went astray in the past. The rabbis and monks that
they worship show them a way of life that is black and white, where there is no
room for ijtihad or ikhtilaf, and where everyone becomes a deviant as long as they
aren’t using the same phrases and evidences certified by the oppressor’s narrative.
Phrases and evidences so dangerous because they are cloaked in the Quran and
sunnah, and that are, for the most part, righteous.
The brother proceeded to attempt to prove that rebellion against the rulers was
impermissible no matter what the ruler did and he quoted a hadith where the
Prophet Muhammad (SAWS) said, “If a maimed Abyssinian slave is appointed over
you and he conducts his affairs according to the book of Allah , you should listen
and obey,” but the evidence is clear, a Muslim follows any leader over him no matter
the social status, yet the condition “as long as he conducts his affairs according to
the book of Allah” cannot be disregarded. Islam requires that every Muslim has
political responsibility. He or she must be concerned with the general welfare of the
society and is ordered to defend the weak and fight tyranny and oppression. When
the borders of the Islamic state were rapidly expanding in the days of the rightly
guided caliphs, the Muslims came into contact with foreign cultures, ideas, and
systems. It was then that the ideas of ‘ijma’ (consensus) and ‘ijtihad’ were utilized
by the sahaba to derive political decisions from the Quran and sunnah that could
apply to a changing reality. It is this mind that must be resurrected in the ummah
today and efforts to understand the contemporary situation alongside efforts to
understand the religion is the only solution for the Muslim nation. When one
analyzes only one of these components of knowledge something is inherently
lacking in their interpretation of the reality of life and are stuck in a deception
rooted in the brain. We ask Allah (SWT) that he inspire you to work with us in
lifting the veil from the minds of the Muslims and that he recognize our efforts as a
form of understanding and propagating his tauhid. Amin!
Whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth is
Allah's; and whether you manifest what is in your minds or hide it, Allah
will call you to account according to it; then He will forgive whom He
pleases and chastise whom He pleases, and Allah has power over all
things.

Lal-Masjid Commemoration
Musharraf – Mockery, Massacre and Martyrdom
The Tale of Lal Masjid
July 17, 2007
It is only in regards to those who fought against you on account of religion,
and that have driven you out of your homes, and helped to drive you out, that Allah
forbids you to befriend them.
And whosever will befriend them, then those are the Zalimun (wrong-doers) (60:9)
American puppet-ruler over a predominantly Muslim land. It seems every politician on
the planet feels the need to play an active role in the largely fraudulent “Global War on
Terror.” Still, the plausibility that there will eventually be a return to a functioning,
secure “Islamic State” can increasingly be discerned despite incessant efforts to quell
every attempt to even facilitate the possibility. There has been Afghanistan, Sudan,
Somalia, and the like and all have been beaten back tragically with violence and with the
subsequent blame being placed on the “terrorist, Muslims.” But developments concur
that there are still major sections of many Muslim countries that are willing to sacrifice
great efforts to realize this cause.
The recent scenario in Pakistan is much the same, yet is full of elevated importance as
Pervez Musharraf, in his best Bush impersonation, has murdered innocent civilians,
manipulated catchphrases of “terrorist” rhetoric, showed that military force is his chosen
diplomacy, and in turn has advanced the cause of the very people he claims to be
fighting. In analyzing the complex multi-dimensions of the recent Lal Masjid massacre,
this dictator’s love for sadistic murder and betrayal becomes apparent. He, like other
rulers over Muslim lands, is an apostate oppressor bent on seeking self-interest and
protecting his secular lusts.
These recent developments in Pakistan couldn’t have occurred at a more problematic
time. The War on Iraq is in full-fledged failure, the resurgence of the Taliban in
Afghanistan is widely documented, and Muslims all over the world are returning to their
religion in packs and hordes. A July 12, 2007 United States intelligence summary, Al-
Qaeda Better Positioned to Strike the West, says the movement's leadership has
regrouped in its safe haven along the Afghanistan-Pakistan border area and restored its
operating capabilities. John Kringen, who heads the CIA's analysis directorate, echoed
the concerns about al-Qaeda’s resurgence during testimony and to reporters at a house
armed services committee hearing on Wednesday July 11, "They seem to be fairly well
settled into the safe haven and the ungoverned spaces of Pakistan," Mr. Kringen testified.
"We see more training. We see more money. We see more communications. We see that
activity rising." And so with the declaration that Al-Qaeda had secured a safe-haven in
Pakistan and pressure mounting from the West, Musharraf had no choice but to show that
he too could get “Tough on Terror.”
Now, with more Muslim blood on his hands, Musharraf has no choice but to continue on
fighting yet another American proxy war. His true face as puppet has never been clearer.
This article will analyze the present situation from a social, political, and historical
context and should inspire all to support the replacement of this oppressive regime with a
truly-Islamic government.
Pakistan separated from British India in 1947. It is the home of our dear Kashmir and has
a rich history of Islam. It has 164 million people and has been led by one apostate since
June 20, 2001, Pervez Musharraf. During the nineteenth century the region served as a
buffer between the British Indian Empire and czarist Russia and was manipulated like
much of the Muslim world through proxy wars and espionage through what the British
termed the “Great Game,” protecting its cash crop in colonialist expertise. It is the home
of Maulana Abdul Maududi, the first complete theoretician of the modern Islamic State
and the organization Jamaat-e-Islami. The country served as an aid to the mujahideen in
Afghanistan and bears record to much internal political dispute. A struggle between
nationalist and Muslim, essentially the battle between Islam and disbelief.
O you who believe! Do not take the kuffar as allies in preference to believers, or do
you wish to present an open proof against yourselves to Allah [Nisa’a 4:144]
Pervez Musharraf is a prime example for the secularist agenda. He is an idolizer of
Mustafa Ataturk, that secular leader of Turkey who destroyed Islamic rule at the behest
of imperialist comptrollers. The resemblance is extraordinary; Musharraf is a military
man and had his first contact with the CIA in the North-West Frontier Province in 1966.
He would later help train the Mujahideen for the Anti-Soviet Jihad and work in close
connection with the CIA there also. It was at this time that he attended trainings at Fort
Bragg in North Carolina and drew even closer to America as they noticed his natural
ability at Psywar techniques. He completed a Master’s Degree at the Royal College of
Defense Studies in the United Kingdom in 1991 and upon returning to Pakistan was
suddenly promoted to Major General of the military. He witnessed the return of Nawaz
Sharif as the prime Minister of Pakistan thereafter and was appointed Chief of Army
Staff by PM Sharif on October 7, 1998. Having placing other CIA connections around
him like General Mohammed Aziz, a multi millionaire, whose wealth derives from the
hundreds of acres of land given to him for supporting the military, and whose relations
with Musharraf go back to his first contact with the CIA, he was aided in orchestrating
the coup of Sharif on October 12, 1999 thus bringing his self to power. Subsequently,
Musharraf’s parents received citizenship in America and he came into his position with
force and blatant lies about conspiracies and assassination attempts plotted against him by
the Sharif government and broken promises to improve conditions in Pakistan.
By June 20, 2001 Musharraf had declared his self president but promised to eventually
return Pakistan to democratic rule, something he is now reluctantly facing in the coming
months as elections are due. It was on September 19, 2001 that he ditched support for the
Taliban and offered full-fledged support for America, a decision that has led to the deaths
of millions of Afghans and contributed largely to opposition against him today. General
Anthony Zinni, former chief of CENTCOM, once said on 60 minutes of Musharraf that
he, “may be America’s last hope in Pakistan, and if he fails, the fundamentalists would
get a hold of the Islamic bomb.” Musharraf exploited claims like these in his recent book
entitled, In the line of Fire, peculiarly the same title as a 1993 Hollywood film about a
lone secret-service agent who stood between life and death for the U.S. President,
sending the message to America that he would protect them from the Islamic threat.
Despite his incessant support however, current American editorials are calling for
government distance from their puppet in the region as they have coerced him to fight
their proxy wars that their dismantled and ruined American military can no longer
achieve. Stratfor Forecasting Inc., a private intelligence agency, predicted his demise on
May 7, 2007.
Ex-CIA agent Michael Sheuer has stated repeatedly that America was going to be
defeated in Afghanistan. However, he does claim that “the U.S. has seldom found an ally
better than Pervez Musharraf, who has acted to advance U.S. interests even while
jeopardizing his own.” Contrary to popular deceit, honest U.S. officials couldn’t possibly
believe that Musharraf was in fact in alliance with the “terrorists.” He is merely the one
to blame for surely the great U.S. does no wrong. Musharraf’s aim is to barter strategic
Afghanistan and Iranian border-land to the United States. He succeeded in the case of
Afghanistan after 9/11 and was rewarded billions from the U.S. His manufactured
objective is secular rule modeled on Ataturk’s legacy as he has expressed an interest in
destroying masjids and building nightclubs and has forever sought his personal interests
in all affairs, finding a certain preference for intimate companionship with disbelievers,
an affinity for force and confrontation against his opponents, and enjoyed a label as an
agent of Western power. While Musharraf resembles two of the most famous
contemporary tyrants against Islam, Ataturk and Bush, like Pharaoh, Abu Jahal, and
eventually Bush and Co., he too will have his day.
Allah has promised, to those among you who believe and work righteous deeds, that He
will, of a surety, grant them succession to the present rulers, as He granted it to those
before them; that He will establish in authority their deen - the one which He has
chosen for them - and that He will change (their state), after the fear in which they
(lived), to one of security and peace [Surah An-Noor 55]
It is anticipated that perhaps the recent events at Lal Masjid will lead to secularist demise.
The immediate history at Lal Masjid is extremely important. The masjid is pro-Taliban
and largely denounced Musharraf’s choice to house American air strikes against
Afghanistan (Apparently, Richard Armitage’s threat “Be prepared to be bombed.” “Be
prepared to go back to the stone age.” did not concern these Muslims). By 2005,
Pakistani authorities attempted to raid the masjid in order to conduct an investigation into
the 7/7 train bombings in London but were beaten back by female students wielding
batons.1 And earlier this year, they had challenged the government and were beginning
to implement Shariah in the premises. Meanwhile Musharraf was busy demolishing
several hundreds-of-year old mosques and preparing to tear down yet another 80 with Lal
Masjid on the list. As the people continued to see the success and light of the masjid they
began to address community concerns there where it could be dealt with islamically.
This eventually led up to the kidnap and detention of a brothel-owner, and subsequent
arbitration between Lal Masjid and the government which led to the release of the captive
in exchange for the closing of the brothel. In early July, the government positioned itself
for a standoff with Muslims in the compound that resulted in violence and on July 10th
the military stormed the compound and killed a large number of people (still
unconfirmed).
The sole crime these Muslims committed was that they supported Islamic law. Ghazi
Abdul Rashid, the sheik of the masjid, refused to surrender and lay in the basement
beside his dying mother when Musharraf’s troops stormed in. Despite his repeated
requests for Musharraf to let the media in the complex, to prove that no arms storage or
foreign Mujahideen were inside, despite his repeated statements that his comrades only
possessed a few licensed Kalashnikovs and no heavy weapons, despite the fact Ghazi had
said that if his students had sophisticated weapons then they would have easily targeted
the apostate force’s bunkers surrounding the complex, Musharraf Ghazi Abdul Rashid
was martyred at point blank range by a Pakistani official who was on the phone with
Musharraf at the time on that July 10th day.
He had claimed that after his martyrdom the regime’s forces would stuff the weapons
inside themselves to prove their false claims. And indeed government reports are full of
controversy. The government reports indicate that around 100 individuals were killed in
the military attacks. However, no one takes these statistics seriously. They do admit that
there were woman and children from amongst the martyred.2 Two women that escaped
the attacks appeared on Pakistani television and reported that the actual numbers of
casualties are between 1000-2000. There were also reports on Al-Jazeerah that
documented the bodies were not given proper janazah and that the Army had requested
800 wooden coffins during the clean-up of the site, with eye witness reports also claiming
that there were many coffins containing more than one body. Bodies are reported to look
badly burned and it seems that U.S. aid has provided Pakistan with a secret weapon as
there are confirmed reports from anonymous internal sources that chemical armaments
including white phosphorous incendiary weapons were used by apostate Pakistani
commandoes against the Islamic students, men, women and children in the massacre.
Pakistan would be the third nation after US and Israel to use these types of banned
weapons against innocent civilians3. After the attacks the military sealed off the area
keeping out all press, planted evidence and shipped off the dead working toward the
cover-up that has since become the justification for a U.S. backed military intervention in
the region.
The incident could have been resolved in mediation Monday July 9, however Musharraf
backed out of the deal obviously wanting to show Bush that he too was “tough on terror.”
Ayman Zawahiri released a statement in the following days calling for a jihad against the
government and reiterating his pleas to the Pakistanis to aid the cause of the mujahideen
in Afghanistan from 2004 and claimed,
This is an eloquent message [from Musharraf] to every scholar and every
free and honorable person in Pakistan: that resisting Musharraf,
confronting him and demanding that he adhere to Islam and refrain from
worshiping the Crusaders and Jews will only get you the worst types of
contempt, humiliation and degradation.
[But in fact] this is your fate if you are silent and prefer the life of this
world to the hereafter. Muslims of Pakistan: your salvation is only through
Jihad.
This statement has been followed through with martyrdom operations that have taken the
lives of 80-plus people over the past two days amidst the end of a 10-month old ceasefire
in North Waziristan between the Pakistan Taliban and the Musharraf regime. Meanwhile
Musharraf has pledged to root out extremists and the Bush cabal has pledged $750
million over 5 years to help the cause. The regime has begun to deploy 12,000 forces
throughout the region to prevent backlash and intimidate the citizenry.
All of this has occurred in the context of a severely inflammatory time period for
Musharraf. On February 26, 2007 Dick Cheney made a surprise visit to him and
threatened to cut aid if Pakistan didn’t get tougher on the Taliban4. Then on March 9,
Musharraf suspended the chief justice of the Supreme Court, Iftikhar Mohammed
Chaundry because he would not deliver pleasing decisions during a year where
Musharraf faces reelection. Subsequent protests broke out across the land. Perhaps
Musharraf’s plan was to exploit the situation at Lal Masjid and utilize it to protect the last
semblances of his control. Whatever the rationale behind the events one can be sure of
two things: that the orders were authorized by Washington and that the decision is
destined to fail.
America, for its part, continues to speak through its press to its public and through its
military-industrial complex in private. The July 16 New York Times front page headline
reads, Aid to Pakistan for Tribal Areas Raises Concerns: A $750 Million U.S. Plan,
Citing Lawlessness, Critics Fear Money Will Fall into Wrong Hands. Thus the
disconcerted citizenry is notified of America’s humanitarianism despite the backwardness
of the Pakistanis where they are led to believe that a recent analysis of a hospital built by
the U.S. Agency for Economic Development showed that U.S. monies had built a facility
that the tribal, savages couldn’t even keep working as beds were empty and the facility
was understaffed. The article goes on for the perhaps 10% that choose to continue on to
page A8, and describes that this is the fault of “severe government deficiencies,”
obviously alluding to the need for some government interference and enforcement in the
Tribal Areas, which happen to be between the Afghanistan border and Islamabad where
the Lal Masjid massacres occurred. The article then closes with statements about how
U.S. interests wanted to build schools and democratic institutions in the region but feared
the rebellion of the backward, pro-Taliban militants. For the truly interested reader that
finishes the piece and finds out how magnificent America actually is, the very next
article, and only other on the page, directly to the right of the conclusion, documents how
terrorists had started with suicide bombings retaliation for the Lal Masjid attacks. The
media-wing of the capitalist’s conspiracy, that Global War on Terror, is in full spin and
similar reports were run across the mainstream spectrum. Blood and gore are sure to
follow.
In fact, similar logic and justification had been laid out before the House Committee on
Oversight and Government Reform, July 12, by Richard Boucher, Assistant Secretary of
State for South and Central Asian Affairs, where the same rationale appeared and backing
of the regime’s retaliation and offensive efforts to silence the population were supported
and transformed into defensive affairs (muck like preemptive efforts of the previous
years). Apparently, Musharraf has taken a page from the neo-conservative script book.
As Musharraf’s expected military response was confirmed, Bush backed his call for
blood and Stephen Hadley, the national security adviser to US President Bush, claimed
4 http://www.cooperativeresearch.org/context.jsp?item=CheneyMusharrafMeeting200702
that the United States would provide Pakistan with all the tools it needs for a projected
crackdown on militants5. "We have seen, in the north-west territories of Pakistan, Taliban
pooling, planning and training," he said. "There was an agreement with the tribal chiefs
that President Musharraf deemed does not work the way he wanted, does not work the
way we wanted and one of the things he is now doing is moving more troops in.” "We're
supporting that effort in order to get control of the situation6.”
A conversation during Q&A at the Presidential Press Briefing on July 16 between a
reporter and Spokesman Tony Snow confirmed that the carrot and the stick approach
backed by media propaganda will be utilized to justify an onslaught in the region, a
display of power that will undoubtedly leave many more dead and injured than will be
officially recorded. The conversation went:
Q: Last September, President Musharraf briefed President Bush on the
deal with the tribal leaders along the border with Pakistan and
Afghanistan. It was a period the President said he believed that Musharraf
was committed the dealing with the Taliban and al Qaeda. He said, we'll
let the tactics speak for themselves after it happens. With the Pakistani
troops said to be massing along that area, have the tactics spoken? Has the
deal failed? Does the President believe that there needs to be a new
strategy for dealing with --
MR. SNOW: Yes, yes. The plan that President Musharraf put forward did
not succeed as we had hoped. And therefore, he is moving troops in to get
control of the situation.
Q: Are we helping? Has the President spoken with him about it?
MR. SNOW: I don't -- no, he's not had a direct conversation with the
President, at least recently. On the other hand, you can assume that
certainly we are doing what we can to support them. Now, they are vital
allies, as the President has said many times, in the war on terror.
Q: There are also plans, I understand, for a rather substantial infusion of
U.S. aid to that area. Are those plans on hold now, given the unstable
military situation there?
MR. SNOW: I'll have to get back to you on that, but it's my sense at this
juncture that the important thing is to get some security into the region.
But I'll give you a follow-up a little later in the day.7
The Truth about American Aid
While the media sell the idea that American aid goes to build hospitals and schools and
the advancement of democratic reform, the reality is a bit more complex. In actuality ten
times more aid goes for military than goes for basic education interests and President
Bush’s recent plan would turn the region into Reconstruction Opportunity Zones,
“designed to connect isolated regions to the global economy” and “granting duty-free
entry to the U.S. for certain goods produced in the zones8.” A win-win situation as
potential terrorists can manufacture socks, underwear, and T-shirts for Americans at cents
to the dollar against American wages and corporations can potentially exploit the people
of the region like those in Indonesia and China.
If the West were actually concerned with improving the well-being of Pakistanis then
why did pledged aid not come thru for the troubled country during the earthquake in 2005
that killed more than 73,0009. Why did it take Musharraf’s pledge to participate in the
war in Afghanistan after September 11, 2001 for U.S. aid to start “pouring in10.” In fact,
the U.S. supported aid for the Taliban when the Soviets were in Afghanistan via
Pakistan’s Intelligence unit, but the aid suddenly dried up when the millions dead and
displaced had to be housed, and when the war torn region had to be rebuilt after
mujahideen success. It seems that “American Interests” always coincide with American
aid and in this instance the aid so highly praised in Washington and in the country’s
papers may be utilized as a justification for what will become another classic example of
America turning a blind eye to full-fledged bloodshed and massacre by the Pakistan
military in the contested region against its people.
The media will cease to report the developments, and the military will likely punish
thousands of innocents as it reacts in a violent and dominant way. Musharraf will attempt
to declare a state of emergency and bargain for a partner government between him and
Benazir Bhutto and her Pakistan’s People Party. Bhutto has declared willingness to aside
with Musharraf in the event he chooses to fight terrorism. Now he has his chance to
merge politically and preserve his role as dictator, by declaring a state of emergency and
postponing elections. Regardless, Islam will prevail.
Who doth greater wrong than one who invents falsehood against Allah, even as he is
being invited to Islam? And Allah guides not those who do wrong.
Their intention is to extinguish Allah’s Light (by blowing) with their mouths: But
Allah will complete (the revelation of) His Light, even though the Unbelievers may
detest (it).
It is He Who has sent His Messenger with Guidance and the Religion of Truth, that he
may proclaim it over all religion, even though the Pagans may detest (it). (61:8-9)
When Musharraf agreed to join the War on Terror after 9/11, the U.S. was well aware
that their stooge in Pakistan would bend over backwards to support them, however he
faced much dissension in the military ranks. This has been the case, but for the most part
the Pakistani military has followed suit and obeyed its commands. Pakistan is rich in
history of political removal and as Musharraf came to power via military coup one could
only suggest that perhaps those dissenters in the military with their hearts still in Islam
will make a brave and courageous decision to defy the ideological comptrollers in
Washington as the country gears up for its own version of the War against Islam.
When will the contemporary visionaries dreams be realized? It is only a matter of time
before the Islamic State is re-established and the dignity and light of Islam will be
restored. The resistance and pressures are but tests for those that believe as the life of this
world is a series of trials and tribulations and becomes like a prison to the believers.
When will the sons and daughters of the ummah rally to the cry and realize that salvation
and sanctity is only though Allah and his deen? When will they make the sacrifice that
leads to the true success?
O ye who believe! Shall I lead you to a bargain that will save you from a grievous
Penalty?-
That ye believe in Allah and His Messenger, and that ye strive (your utmost) in the
Cause of Allah, with your property and your persons: That will be best for you, if ye
but knew!
He will forgive you your sins, and admit you to Gardens beneath which Rivers flow,
and to beautiful mansions in Gardens of Eternity: that is indeed the Supreme
Achievement. (61:10-12)
All Muslims near and far must come to the realization that Allah is restoring the deen and
that brave and honorable Muslims and Muslimah everywhere must center their minds on
doing something with their lives for the sake of Allah. There is a binding obligation on
us everywhere to support those that call for the Khilafah, to expose the lies of the
deceiver and to never fear the blame of the blamers. Indeed the whole world has gathered
against the Islam and it takes true courage and faith to believe in the cause. You must first
believe in your hearts that despite the strength in numbers and arsenal of those that
disbelieve, despite the ideological warfare that constantly sends thoughts of fear through
the soul, that Islam will prevail and then you must follow your conviction with action as
best as you can. So that Allah will love you and so you can love Allah. We ask for
Allah’s affection for those in Pakistan and for his replacing Musharraf and foiling the
plans of the disbelievers. May he guide Islam to victory and grant those that strive in His
way a goodly reward and may He permit us to imitate Muhammad, His Messenger
(PBUH) like Musharraf follows Bush and lead us off to the true success. Amin!
And another (favor will He bestow,) which ye do love, - help from Allah and a
speedy victory. So give the Glad Tidings to the Believers.
. O ye who believe! Be ye helpers of Allah. As said Jesus the son of Mary to the
Disciples, "Who will be my helpers to (the work of) Allah." Said the disciples, "We are
Allah’s helpers!" then a portion of the Children of Israel believed, and a portion
disbelieved: But We gave power to those who believed, against their enemies, and they
became the ones that prevailed.
(Quran 61: 13-14)
